United Kingdom – Conversation between Laurent Fabius and George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer and Second Lord of the Treasury (Paris, July 27, 2015)

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Laurent Fabius met today with George Osborne, the United Kingdom’s Chancellor of the Exchequer and Second Lord of the Treasury.

They spoke mainly of British demands ahead of the United Kingdom’s referendum on remaining in the European Union, to be held before the end of 2017.

Mr. Osborne was appointed by Prime Minister David Cameron, who came to Paris on May 28 to discuss this issue with President Hollande, the principal negotiator on this issue.
