The 35th Franco-British Summit (Sandhurst, 18 January 2018)

Created in 1976, the Franco-British Summit is a regular meeting between the French President, the British Prime Minister and their government Ministers. Its aim is to strengthen strategic cooperation between the two countries in a number of areas.

The 35th Franco-British Summit was held in the United Kingdom on 18 January 2018.

Foreign Policy and Development Compact

During the Summit, the Foreign Policy and Development Compact was signed by Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson and Secretary of State for International Development Penny Mordaunt.
