Q: According to President Putin, the siege of the Azovstal factory in Mariupol has begun. Is France paying special attention to the way that sieges are unfolding?

A: France is very concerned by the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Mariupol. We continue to call on Russia to end this siege and, in particular, to allow any civilians who would like to leave to do so freely and safely in the direction of their choosing. We also call on Russia to allow humanitarian organizations on the ground to deliver humanitarian supplies to the city.
