Q : According to media reports, Ukraine gave the Normandy Quartet states a new cluster project in order to develop a roadmap to resolve the Donbass conflict. Kiev’s proposals are the first documented vision of how, specifically, Kiev would like to change the Minsk Agreement. Can you confirm that Ukraine submitted these proposals? Is a meeting of negotiators scheduled in the near future? Will the need to rewrite the Minsk Agreement be discussed at that meeting?

A : We do not comment on press reports concerning the content of our discussions within the Normandy format. These discussions are confidential, a vital prerequisite in the effort to build lasting trust between the parties.

France, along with Germany, is resolutely pursuing its efforts within the Normandy format with a view to the full implementation of the Minsk agreement. This agreement remains the basis agreed upon by all the parties for reaching a just and lasting resolution to the Donbass conflict.
