Ukraine - Q&A - Excerpts from the daily press briefing (15.06.17)

Q - Are you concerned about the position of the U.S. secretary of state, who stated yesterday that the international community should not be handcuffed to the Minsk agreements and that there might be another framework for reaching an agreement in Ukraine?

A - The Minsk Agreements are binding upon those who signed them, and first and foremost, Ukraine and Russia.

As part of the mediation efforts in the Normandy format, France and Germany are committed to continuing our cooperation with the United States. We need joint efforts to move toward a common goal: the peaceful and lasting resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
