Ukraine – Flight MH17 (19 June 2019)

The latest conclusions of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on the destruction of Flight MH17 are prompting the Dutch judicial authorities to bring charges against four named suspects.

This is another important step toward establishing the facts and identifying those responsible for this heinous crime, as well as bringing the truth to the victims’ families and friends.

As it did so yesterday together with its partners at the European Council, France reaffirms its support for the efforts to establish the truth and ensure justice and accountability, in accordance with UNSCR 2166.

France reaffirms its support for the member states of the Joint Investigation Team. It calls on the Russian Federation to fully cooperate with the Joint Investigation Team and the Dutch judicial authorities.
