Turkey – Clarifications sought from the Turkish ambassador (2 Jul. 2020)

Following the remarks made by the ambassador of Turkey to France on July 1 during his hearing before the Senate’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces, notably those referring to the naval incident targeted against the Courbet frigate on June 10, we wanted to seek the necessary clarifications from him regarding the facts, omissions and incorrect and biased information he advanced during this hearing. We wanted to underscore once again the unacceptable nature of the Turkish conduct.
