Syria - Q & A from the daily press briefing (18.04.17)

Q - Do you have any response to the Human Rights Watch conclusions regarding the attack carried out by the U.S. Air Force against a mosque in western Aleppo on March 16 which killed 38 civilians? What is the level of coordination/consultation among the coalition regarding the choice of targets and is each member free to choose targets without speaking to the other members?

A - The United States has launched an investigation in order to shed full light on this tragedy. We are awaiting the results.

With respect to your second question, we invite you to consult the Ministry of Defense.
