On September 18, Laurent Fabius will participate in the inauguration of the 2015-2016 France-Korea Year at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris in the presence of Korean Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn, who is conducting an official visit to France from September 16 to 19, and Fleur Pellerin, Minister of Culture and Communication.
As we celebrate the 130th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our two countries, France-Korea Year reflects our joint determination to strengthen our relations in all areas. It will also highlight the innovation sector.
Events will take place throughout the year, including for example the “Techno Parade Seoul Bam” on September 19 in Paris, Korean film retrospectives, including “Seoul hypnotique” (September 15 to November 1 at the Forum des Images), and the “Street Food Temple” which will showcase Korean cuisine.
