Slovenia – Meeting between Amélie de Montchalin and Simona Leskovar, State Secretary at the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Paris, 15 November 2019)
Amélie de Montchalin, Minister of State for European Affairs, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will receive Simona Leskovar, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia on November 15.
The two ministers of state will discuss the major challenges of the new European institutional cycle in the run-up to the Slovenian and French presidencies of the Council of the European Union during the second half of 2021 and the first half of 2022 respectively. Amélie de Montchalin will discuss with Simona Leskovar the achievements of the presidency of the Council of Europe held by France until November 27, 2019.
This meeting will help strengthen the quality of our bilateral relations in the context of the new French–Slovenian Strategic Partnership Action Plan signed by the ministers of foreign affairs of the two countries on July 2.
