Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian spoke today with Senegalese President Macky Sall and with Aïssata Tall Sall, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad.

They discussed the priorities of the French-Senegalese partnership: health, economic cooperation and trade, security, cultural cooperation, and cooperation on higher education. The Minister and President welcomed yesterday’s signing of the intergovernmental agreement on the establishment of the Campus Franco-Sénégalais.

Mr. Le Drian and Mr. Sall also discussed the situations in Mali, Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea.
