Q : Will France call out Saudi Arabia on human rights at the G20 summit and demand the release of Saudi women activists including Lujain al-Hathloul?

A: France is paying particular attention and mobilizing its efforts continuously on human rights and gender equality in multilateral bodies and in its bilateral relationships. Since 2019 President Macron has reaffirmed his support for Lujain al-Hathloul and called for her release on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
