Saudi Arabia – France condemns the attacks on Saudi territory (25 Mar. 2022)

France utterly condemns the attacks carried out by the Houthis today against Saudi territory, including civilian sites.

The attacks, which threaten Saudi Arabia’s security and the stability of the region, must cease immediately. They illustrate the seriousness of the threat posed to the whole region by the proliferation of drones and missiles, and the need to step up dialogue on regional security.

France remains fully mobilized to bring about a cessation of hostilities in Yemen and a relaunch of talks with a view to a comprehensive political agreement, under the aegis of the United Nations. We call on the Houthis to engage constructively to this end.
