Saudi Arabia – Attacks - Q&A - Excerpts from the daily press briefing (18 septembre 2019)

Q- Have your American and Saudi allies shared with you the information they gathered following the attacks on the oil facilities in Saudi Arabia? Do you believe that information is credible?

A- We refer you to the communiqué from the President’s Office regarding the telephone conversation between President Macron and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.

As you know, the Saudi authorities proposed that international experts and the UN take part in investigations to determine the origin and means of the attacks on September 14. President Macron confirmed that French experts would be sent to Saudi Arabia in response to this request.

As the minister said yesterday in Cairo, we share the desire to carefully establish the facts prior to any response.
