Q:The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation said that Russia would soon convey to the U.S. and other NATO countries its proposals on security guarantees in Europe. Is France prepared to examine them?

A: France will very closely study any proposals as long as they are likely to contribute to strengthening strategic stability in Europe and are in the interest of France’s security and that of its allies and partners.
