Euro 2016 – Mr. Shprygin’s situation (June 21, 2016)

Upon learning that Alexander Shprygin – who had been part of a group of Russian fans that had been expelled from France for public disorder – was in the country, French officials took immediate measures.

He was arrested and placed in police custody, and should be expelled in the coming hours.

He is now banned from entering France.
