Franck Riester, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will visit Poland from February 2 to 3.

Almost a year after President Macron’s state visit from February 3 to 4, 2020, the minister delegate will meet with Michal Kurtyka, Minister of Climate and Environment, Marcin Horala, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Robert Tomanek, Deputy State Secretary with responsibility for Trade Policy.

The minister delegate will underscore France’s determination to strengthen French-Polish economic exchanges and improve access to our respective markets in order to support key Polish projects in the areas of infrastructure, transport and energy, notably nuclear energy. He will meet with members of the French business community, which is very active in Poland; almost 1,200 French companies operate in the country.

Franck Riester will discuss with his interlocutors current European and international trade issues and trade and investment relations with key EU partners such as the United States and China.
