Panama – Virtual meeting between Franck Riester and the Minister of Foreign Affairs (7 May 2021)

Franck Riester, Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will meet virtually today with Panamanian Foreign Minister Erika Mouynes.

They will discuss French-Panamanian bilateral relations. Mr. Riester will reaffirm France’s expectations on tax cooperation with Panama and prospects for expanding bilateral economic relations, especially in the areas of infrastructure and sustainable cities. They will also discuss the challenges of international cooperation on fighting the pandemic and climate change.
