Pakistan – Terrorist Attack (July 31, 2023)

France condemns in the strongest possible terms the terrorist attack that was carried out during a political rally in northwest Pakistan. This attack, for which the Islamic State has claimed responsibility, killed over 50 people, including many children, and left dozens more injured.

France extends its condolences to the loved ones of the victims and wishes those who were injured a speedy recovery. France expresses its total solidarity with the Pakistani people at this difficult time.

France assures the Pakistani authorities of its support as they deal with the scourge of terrorism, which must be relentlessly combatted.
