North Korea – Missile launch (17 Nov. 2022)

France reiterates its deep concern over North Korea’s pursuit of its nuclear programs and the development of delivery systems in flagrant violation of UN Security Council resolutions. In that connection, we also condemn North Korea’s launch of a short-range ballistic missile on November 17.

France urges North Korea to immediately comply with its international obligations and return to the negotiating table.

We emphasize our determination to pursue – together with our partners – the goal of North Korea’s complete, verifiable, irreversible denuclearization and to encourage dialogue among all the parties.
