North Korea – France condemns the latest ballistic missile launch (September 26, 2022)

France condemns North Korea’s September 25th launch of a ballistic missile in the strongest possible terms. It constitutes yet another violation of UN Security Council resolutions.

France remains concerned by the repeated number of North Korean missile launches since the beginning of the year and once again urges North Korea to immediately comply with its international obligations and to return to the negotiating table.

Together with our partners, we remain determined to pursue the goal of North Korea’s complete, verifiable and irreversible renunciation of its nuclear programs and delivery systems, and we encourage dialogue among all the parties in order to ease regional tensions.
