Myanmar – France condemns the air strike on the village of Pa Zi Gyi in the strongest terms (11 April 2023)

France condemns in the strongest possible terms yesterday’s horrific air strike by Myanmar’s forces on the village of Pa Zi Gyi, Myanmar, which left several dozen dead and injured, including children. This latest massacre of civilians is consistent with the Myanmar junta’s strategy, for more than two years now, of indiscriminate violence against the Myanmar people, who reject its illegitimate power grab. France offers its condolences to the victims’ families and loved ones.

France will continue to stand firmly with the Myanmar people, whose courage and staunch commitment to democracy we applaud.
