Morocco – Western Sahara – Adoption of UNSCR 2414 renewing MINURSO’s mandate (New York, April 27)
France welcomes the adoption by the UN Security Council on April 27 of resolution 2414 renewing MINURSO’s mandate.
France lends its full support to this mission, which plays a key role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
UNSCR 2414 calls for the implementation of a just and lasting solution that has been mutually agreed upon by all parties. France will continue to support the efforts to that end of Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General Horst Köhler.
