Q – What prospects does Edouard Philippe’s visit to Morocco, beginning on Wednesday, represent for relations between the two countries?
A – Prime Minister Edouard Philippe will be in Rabat on November 15 and 16, accompanied by a delegation of 10 ministers. Together with his counterpart, Saâdeddine El Othmani, he will co-chair the 13th high-level meeting, a French-Moroccan intergovernmental seminar.
Participants will work on such issues as youth, innovation and growth, decentralized cooperation, migration, and the development of joint projects in Africa. Cooperation agreements will be signed in every area.
Jean-Yves Le Drian visited Morocco in October to lay the groundwork for this high-level meeting, whose aim is to consolidate the exceptional partnership between France and Morocco.
