Q - What is your response to the attack on a military school in Tripoli on Saturday? Do you think Russia and the United Arab Emirates are involved in the foreign military interference in Libya?

A - France is concerned by the risk of escalation connected with the upsurge in foreign military interference in Libya and the toll of the latest bombing campaigns in Libya.

France reiterates the need to strengthen international consensus at the Berlin conference in order to establish a ceasefire and make it possible to resume inter-Libyan dialogue. France fully supports the resumption of a political process involving all stakeholders under the auspices of the UN that abides by the principles agreed upon in Paris, Palermo, and Abu Dhabi, with a view to restoring Libya’s full sovereignty.
