Libya – Attack in Benghazi (August 2, 2016)

France condemns the attack in Benghazi on August 2 that left more than 20 dead.

We offer our condolences to the victims’ families and reaffirm our solidarity with the Libyan people.

To effectively combat terrorism, France calls on all Libyans to accept the authority of the national unity government led by Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj.
