Kosovo – Conversation between Clément Beaune and Donika Gërvalla- (16 Mar.22)

Clément Beaune, Minister of State for European Affairs, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will meet today with Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo.

This conversation will give them the opportunity to address bilateral, regional and international issues and to discuss the Russian aggression in Ukraine and its implications, a topic on which Kosovo and the European Union share the same position.

Clément Beaune will reaffirm France’s commitment to seeing progress made on the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina under European mediation with the goal of reaching a final, comprehensive and legally binding agreement. He will also underscore the importance of quickly finding a satisfactory solution to the issue of voting for Serbian citizens residing in Kosovo.
