Japan – Meeting between Jean-Marc Ayrault and his counterpart (Paris, March 20, 2016)

Jean-Marc Ayrault met with Fumio Kishida, his Japanese counterpart, during a working dinner on March 20 at the Quai d’Orsay.

The two ministers discussed the dynamic relations between our two countries, notably in the context of the 2015-2016 French-Japanese Year of Innovation.

In the run-up to the G7 Foreign Ministers Meeting due to take place in Hiroshima on April 10 and 11, they also took stock of the major international and regional issues, including the disturbing provocations by North Korea, the fight against terrorism and the implementation of the Paris Climate Agreement.
