Italy – Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne’s visit to Rome (14 and 15 January 2021)

Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Minister of State for Tourism, French Nationals Abroad and Francophonie, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, went to Rome on 14 and 15 January 2021.

The Minister of State spoke to Ricardo Merlo, Undersecretary of State for Italians Abroad, and Lorenza Bonaccorsi, Undersecretary of State for Tourism. The ministers of State talked about consular cooperation in the run-up to France’s forthcoming European Union presidency, and the situation of Italian and French nationals in our respective countries against the background of the health crisis. Italy’s French community has more than 36,000 people.

Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne spoke to the councillors representing French nationals abroad and went to Rome’s Lycée Chateaubriand to meet the education community.
