Situation of Mme Nour Attaalah (3 August 2025)

Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, has stressed the unacceptable nature of the remarks disseminated by Mme Nour Attaalah, a Gazan student, prior to her arrival on French territory.

In view of their gravity, Mme Attaalah could not remain in the country. She left France today for Qatar, to continue her studies there.

France thanks the Qatari authorities for their decisive cooperation.
