Israel – Houthi missile strike hits near Ben Gurion Airport (5 May 2025)

France condemns in the strongest terms the strike carried out on 4 May by the Houthis against Israel, which landed near Ben Gurion airport. The constant attacks by the Houthis against Israel are unacceptable and will only exacerbate the high level of regional tensions, prolonging the end to the conflict. It must end immediately.

France reiterates its commitment to Israel’s security and reaffirms the right of the Israeli people to live in peace and security, and also its commitment to regional stability.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, through its diplomatic and consular network, continues to monitor the situation of French nationals in Israel, whether they are residents or visitors.
