IRAQ – M. JEAN- NOEL BARROT’S CONVERSATION WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE KURDISTAN REGIONAL GOVERNMENT OF IRAQ (3 March 2026)

The Minister spoke to the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani.

The Minister expressed France’s solidarity with Iraqi Kurdistan in the face of the attacks perpetrated by Iran and affiliated armed groups.

The Minister and the President discussed the ongoing regional escalation and the prospects for a solution to the crisis, and agreed to go on coordinating closely.
