Q: Do you support the call by the UN investigator on human rights in Iran for an independent inquiry into allegations of state-ordered executions of thousands of political prisoners in 1988 and the role played by President-elect Ebrahim Raisi as Tehran deputy prosecutor?

A: We regularly express our concerns and expectations concerning serious and regular violations of human rights in Iran, as we reiterated on June 21 following Ebrahim Raisi’s election as President.
