Q: What is France’s response to the protests in Iran?

A: France is closely monitoring the demonstrations currently taking place in several cities in Iran.

It deplores the death of several demonstrators over the last few days.

It reaffirms its attachment to respect for the freedom of expression and the right to demonstrate peacefully.
