Iran - Attack in Ahvaz (22 September 2018)

France utterly condemns the attack carried out today in Ahvaz, which, according to preliminary reports, killed 29 people and injured several dozen others, including a large number of civilians.

We extend our condolences to the victims’ families as well as to the Iranian people. We are closely monitoring developments in the situation on the ground, in cooperation with our embassy in Tehran.
