Haiti – Appointment of Susan D. Page as UN special representative (2 November 2017)

France welcomes the appointment of Susan D. Page on November 2 as UN special representative and chief of the United Nations Mission for Justice Support in Haiti (MINUJUSTH).

We offer her our best wishes for success and express our gratitude to the former special representative, Sandra Honoré, who successfully led the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) until it ended on October 15, and to Mamadou Diallo, deputy special representative, who temporarily replaced her.

The first U.S. ambassador to South Sudan, Susan D. Page had been MINUSTAH’s deputy special representative for the rule of law since January 2017.
