Mme Catherine Colonna, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, is going to Turkey, then Greece, today and tomorrow.
In Turkey Mme Colonna will be meeting her Turkish counterpart Mr Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in Ankara. The ministers will take stock of the bilateral relationship between France and Turkey, and relations between Turkey and the European Union. The situation in Ukraine will also be discussed. The dialogue on the Syria and Libya crises will continue. The Minister will also be going to Istanbul, which will be an opportunity for her to meet civil society players and visit Galatasaray University.
In Greece, the Minister will be received by Prime Minister Kyriákos Mitsotákis and talk to her Greek counterpart, Mr Níkos Déndias. Discussions will focus, among other things, on our bilateral relationship, the Ukraine crisis, regional issues and preparations for the upcoming European Union meetings on energy.
