Germany – Vocational training – Launch of a pilot project by Myriam El Khomri and Harlem Désir (Paris, November 23, 2015)

Harlem Désir, Minister of State for European Affairs and Secretary-General for French-German Cooperation, presided over the launch of the French-German pilot project to promote the mobility of apprentices, alongside Myriam El Khomri, Minister of Labor, Employment, Vocational Training and Social Dialogue, and Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut, Ambassador of Germany.

The firms involved in this project were represented at the launch (Allianz, Michelin, Danone, Bosch, BASF, L’Oréal, Siemens, BNP Paribas, ENGIE, Airbus and Safran) alongside the young people who will benefit from the initiative, social partners, representatives of the “Erasmus plus” agency and the French-German Youth Office.

Together with the European student identity card and the European civic service initiative, this project is one of the three European youth projects entrusted to Harlem Désir by the prime minister, in cooperation with the ministers concerned.
