Marielle de Sarnez, Minister for European Affairs, will visit Berlin on 30 May.
She will discuss the revitalization of the European project with her German counterpart, Michael Roth, Minister of State for Europe.
At this meeting, the two ministers, both Secretaries-General for French-German cooperation, will also take stock of French-German cooperation, cross-border and decentralized cooperation, and exchanges between our civil societies.
Ms de Sarnez and Mr Roth will work on the upcoming meeting of the Franco-German Council of Ministers and will discuss the first meeting of the Franco-German integration council, created at the 2016 Franco-German Council of Ministers, which aims to address this issue that is central for both our societies from a French-German standpoint.
During the visit, Ms de Sarnez will also meet with Uwe Corsepius, Federal Chancellor Merkel’s adviser on Europe.
