President Peter Christian welcomed France’s leadership during COP21 and called for the effective implementation of an ambitious regional strategy to put into practice the commitments that had been made. He attended the high-level dialogue on climate change organized in Nouméa by the Pacific Community in May 2018 and closed by the French President.
