Egypt – Attack on buses carrying Coptic Christians (2 November 2018)
France condemns in the strongest possible terms the attack on buses travelling to a Coptic monastery in Minya, Egypt, which has been claimed by Daesh.
Having seen terrorism once again strike Egypt, and its Coptic community in particular, we extend our condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of Egypt.
We want to reiterate France’s full and active solidarity with Egypt in its fight against terrorism, and that such acts will only serve to strengthen our determination.
