State Visit of President Emmanuel Macron to Denmark (28-29 August 2018)

Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, made a State visit to Denmark on 28 and 29 August 2018. He was accompanied by Nathalie Loiseau, Minister for European Affairs.

The visit was marked by several declarations and by the signature of agreements:

28.08.18: Franco-Danish Declaration on European Security

29.08.18: Declaration of Intent between the French Republic and the Kingdom of Denmark on Cooperation in the Field of Energy and Climate

29.08.18: Joint Declaration on closer French-Danish collaboration on development cooperation, with a particular focus on Sahel

29.08.18: Letter of Intent in the areas of higher education and science between the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of the French Republic and the Minister of Higher Education and Science of Denmark
