United Nations - France condemns the attack against MONUSCO (September 30, 2022)

France condemns in the strongest possible terms the attack on the United Nations Organisation Stabilisation Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), which took place on Friday, September 30, in Minembwe, South Kivu, and resulted in the death of a Pakistani UN peacekeeper.

France sends its condolences to the loved ones of the deceased soldier and to the Pakistani authorities. The perpetrators of this attack must be found and held responsible for their actions.

France commends MONUSCO on its commitment and reiterates its full support for the mission.
