Czech Republic - Visit by Mme Amélie de Montchalin (Prague, 28-29 November 2019)

Amélie de Montchalin, Minister of State for European Affairs, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, is paying a working visit to Prague on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 November. She will talk to her Czech counterpart, Ms Milena Hrdinková, and also have a meeting with Mr Tomas Petriček, the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs.

At the invitation of the Czech presidency of the Visegrád Group (V4), Mme de Montchalin will participate in a meeting in “V4+France” format; the Minister of State and her counterparts Ms Hrdinková, Mr František Ružička (Slovakia), Mr Attila Steiner (Hungary) and Mr Konrad Szymański (Poland) will look at points of agreement between France and the V4 on the main European issues in the run-up to the European Council of 12 and 13 December 2019.

In addition to these political meetings, the Minister of State will talk to students from Prague’s Charles University. She will also visit the European Global Satellite Navigation System Agency (Galileo), which is based in Prague, and the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC).
