Q : What is your response following the announcement by the Russian authorities on Sunday regarding the expulsion of 20 Czech diplomats?

A : France reaffirms its full support for, and its solidarity with, the Czech Republic. As you know, the matter was discussed yesterday at the Foreign Affairs Council on the initiative of the Czech foreign minister. The European Union as a whole and its member states stand alongside the Czech Republic with respect to this matter, as reaffirmed by the European External Action Service spokesperson following the Foreign Affairs Council meeting.
