Croatia – Shipment of equipment to show solidarity with Croatia following the earthquake near Zagreb (26 March 2020)

As announced by President Macron during his telephone conversation with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, France wished to express its solidarity with the Croatian people affected by the earthquake on March 22 near Zagreb.

A sécurité civile [emergency services] plane took off for Zagreb yesterday evening from the airbase in Nîmes with more than two tons of equipment on board, notably including tents, cots and sleeping bags, in order to help those people whose homes have been damaged by the earthquake.
