China – Visit by Jean-Yves Le Drian (25-27 April 2019)

During this visit, the minister will meet with his counterpart, Wang Yi, State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and will represent President Macron at the 2nd edition of the Silk Road Forum. In the context of the guidelines set out by President Macron in his speech in Xian in January 2018, he will promote the European vision of sustainable connectivity, consistent with international norms and standards, between Europe and Asia.

In addition, the minister will open, on April 26, the 14th edition of the “Croisements” festival, a major French-Chinese festival featuring around 50 cultural events in more than 30 Chinese cities, which will run until July 6, 2019.
