China - Foreign trade - Mission entrusted to M. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former prime minister (15 January 2018)

M. Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, has decided to entrust a mission supporting French businesses in China to M. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former prime minister.

He has asked him to take the concerns of our businesses to the most appropriate level of Chinese decision-making, in full cooperation with our embassy in Beijing, the state services concerned and the operator Business France.

It will support French businesses, particularly SMEs and ETIs [intermediate-sized enterprises], in the difficulties they may encounter on the Chinese market. Particular attention will be given to agrifood, health, renewable energy and sustainable urban development.
