I want to convey the French authorities’ sorrow following the accidental death of Ambassador Wu Jianmin.

China’s ambassador to France for five years, from 1998 to 2003, and an expert on France, he never stopped working to expand French-Chinese relations.

Our thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.
