For the first time since it was created in 2005, the Yaoundé International War College (Ecole supérieure internationale de guerre de Yaoundé) will be received today at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs during its annual study tour.
This school was created through a partnership between France and Cameroon and is aimed at training high-level African army personnel in the area of advanced military education.
It is internationally renowned thanks to its recognized diploma and equivalency with the l’école de guerre de Paris. It has also been recognized as a center of excellence by the Economic Community of Central African States.
The 12th graduating class is composed of 62 trainees representing 21 nationalities.
